Rick Christie

Rick is a professional Director and company Chairman with appointments in both the private and public sectors. Rick joined the Board of Solnet Group in 2010 as an independent director.

Rick is also the Chairman of Ebos Group Ltd, and a Director of Tourism Holdings Ltd, Wakefield Health Ltd, Southport Ltd, and the NZ Pork Industry Board. Until recently he was Chairman of AgResearch Ltd, Chairman of the Growth and Innovation advisory Board, Deputy Chairman of the Foundation for Research Science & Technology and Chairman of the Victoria University Foundation Board of Trustees.

Rick is an MSc (Hons) graduate in chemistry from Victoria University. He is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Management, and an Accredited Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Directors. Rick is also a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, a Hunter Fellow of Victoria University of Wellington, and made a Companion of The Royal Society of New Zealand in 2010.

Rick is married with three adult children, and lives in Wellington, New Zealand.
